Demonstrative Pronouns ضمائر الإشارة

Singular  مفرد
this هذا للمفرد القريب
that  هذا للمفرد البعيد

Use this/these for things near you.

استخدم this / these للأشياء القريبة. 

Plural جمع

these  الإشارة للجمع القريب

those الإشارة للجمع البعيد

Use that/those for things far from you.

استخدم these / those للأشياء البعيدة. 

Imperatives الأوامر

Use the imperative for commands and instructions.

استخدم صيغة الأمر للأوامر والتعليمات.

Say please to be polite.

قل (please =من فضلك) لتكون مهذبا.

Affirmative (+) المُثبت

Sit down. / Please sit down. 

اجلس \ من فضلك اجلس.

Negative (−) المنفي
Don’t sit down. / Please don’t sit down.

لا تجلس \ من فضلك لا تجلس.

Also use the imperative to give advice.

أيضا استخدم صيغة الأمر لإعطاء نصيحة.

Buy those posters. They’re nice. 

اشتر تلك الملصقات. انها لطفاء.

Don’t buy that painting. It’s strange.

لا تشتر تلك اللوحة. إنها غريبة.

Indefinite Articles: a/an  أدوات التنكير

The indefinite articles a/an come before singular nouns.

تأتي أدوات التنكير قبل الأسماء المفردة

Use a before words that begin with a consonant sound:

استخدم a قبل الكلمات التي تبدأ بحرف ساكن (أصوات العالة)

الأمثلة:

a radio, a calculator, a painting.

Use an before words that begin with a vowel sound:

استخدم an  قبل الكلمات التي تبدأ بحرف متحرك.

الأمثلة:

an airplane, an English class.

FYI لمعلوماتك

The vowels are أصوات العلة هي
a, e, i, o, u.
