Use any in negative statements and in questions.
Use some/any with noncount nouns and with plural nouns.
- استخدم some في العبارات المُثبتة.
- استخدام any في عبارات النفي وفي الأسئلة.
- استخدام some أو any مع الأسماء غير المعدودة (التي لا تُجمع) ومع وأسماء الجمع.

Affirmative (+) المثبت

هل هناك أي تلوث؟

هل هناك أي منشآت رياضية؟
There is some pollution.
هناك بعض التلوث.

هناك بعض المنشآت الرياضية.
Negative (–) المنفي
There isn’t any pollution.
ليس هناك أي تلوث.
There aren’t any sport facilities.
لا توجد أي منشآت رياضية.
Use no with noncount and plural nouns in affirmative sentences to give a negative meaning.
استخدم no مع الأسماء غير المعدودة والجمع في الجمل المُثبتة لإعطاء معنى منفي.
الأمثلة:
There is no crime. = There isn’t any crime.
لا يوجد جريمة. = ليس هناك أي جريمة.
There are no recycling facilities. = There aren’t any recycling facilities.
