So…That/Such…That
So and such make the meaning of an adjective or adverb stronger. So…that and such…that are used to show cause and effect.
so و such كل منهما يجعل معنى الصفة أو الظرف أقوى.
كل من العبارات So…that و such…that تستخدمان لإظهار السبب والنتيجة.
so + adjective/adverb + that
He is so fast that he won the race. He ran so fast that he won the race.
إنه سريع لدرجة أنه فاز بالسباق. ركض بسرعة لدرجة أنه فاز بالسباق.
so + many/much + noun + that
He has so many books that he can hardly carry them.
لديه الكثير من الكتب لدرجة أنه لا يستطيع حملها.
I have so much homework that I can’t go out tonight.
لدي الكثير من الواجبات المنزلية بحيث لا يمكنني الخروج الليلة.
such + adjective + noun + that
It was such a difficult test that none of the students did well.
لقد كان اختبارًا صعبًا لدرجة أن لا أحد من الطلاب أدى جيداً.
