What Is The Difference Between "all" and "whole"? #grammar

Some learners mix between these two words "all" and "whole".

You can use" all" with plural nouns. For example, "all cats are animals."
Also, you can use "all" with uncountable nouns. For example "All wood tends to shrink."
You can use "all" with the preposition "of". For example, "all of us."
Use the definite article "the" after all. As in, "I was playing all the time."
