Conditional Sentences with Present and Future Forms
الجُمل الشرطية مع صيغ الحاضر (المضارع) و المُستقبل
Use conditional sentences with if to talk about real causes and results. In these cases you can also use
when in place of if.
استخدم الجُمل الشرطية إذا كنت تتحدث عن الأسباب الحقيقية والنتائج.
في هذه الحالات ، يمكنك أيضًا استخدام when بدلاً من if.
Present Facts حقائق في الحاضر
Use the simple present tense in both clauses.
استخدم المضارع البسيط الحالي في كلا العبارتين.
مثال:
When a meteoroid enters the earth’s atmosphere, chemical interactions and gasses cause it to heat up and form a fireball.
عندما يدخل النيزك غلاف جو الأرض ، تتسبب التفاعلات الكيميائية والغازات في تسخينه وتشكيل كرة نارية.
Future Facts حقائق مسقبلية
Use the simple present in the if-clause and the future with will in the result clause.
استخدم المضراع البسيط في عبارة if والمستقبل مع will في جملة النتيجة.
مثال:
If you don’t leave now, you will be late.
إذا لم تغادر الآن ، فسوف تكون متأخر.
May/Might
Use may/might in the result clause to suggest something is possible, but not certain.
استخدم may أو might في عبارة النتيجة لاقتراح شيئا ما ممكن لكن غير مؤكد.
مثال:
If you see a meteorite falling through the sky, it may be a stony meteorite or it might be an iron meteorite. The third type of meteorite is a stony-iron meteorite, but these are very rare.
إذا رأيت نيزك يسقط في السماء ، فربما يكون نيزك صخريًا أو قد يكون نيزك حديدي.

Express Necessity and Lack of Necessity:
