شرح قاعدة Needs to be done; get/ have done

Need to Be (Done)

The hairbrushes need to be produced more cheaply.

يجب إنتاج فُرَش الشعر بسعر أرخص.

(= Someone needs to produce the hairbrushes more cheaply.)

فرش الشعر يجب أن تُنتج بسعر أرخص.

(= شخص ما يحتاج إلى إنتاج فرشاة الشعر بتكلفة أقل. )

The zip on my handbag needs to be replaced.

يجب استبدال الرمز البريدي الموجود في حقيبتي.

(= Someone needs to replace the zip on my handbag.)

(= شخص ما يحتاج إلى استبدال الرمز البريدي على حقيبة يدي.)

Have/Get Something (Done)

Use have or get, with the past participle, when someone else does the service for you.

استخدم have أو get مع التصريف الثالث للفعل عندما يقوم شخص آخر بخدمة لك.

I will have/get my hair cut tomorrow.

I’m having/getting my hair cut tomorrow. What style should I ask for?

I’m going to have/get my hair cut next week. I need to book an appointment.

I had/got my hair cut yesterday. What do you think?

Past Participles as Adjectives

طالما عرفنا ان past participle هو التصريف الثالث للفعل وهو يُستخدم في الازمنة.

هذه النقطة تشرح أنه يُستخدم كـ صفات adjectives.

break–broken
The zip was broken. He fixed the broken zip.

crack–cracked
The mirror was cracked. I threw away the cracked mirror.

damage–damaged
Her health was damaged by the fad diet. The fad diet damaged her health.

tear–torn     

The shirt was torn. The tailor sewed the torn sleeve.
