conditionals – future, present and past
Use and form: الاستخدام والصيغة
We use the first and second conditional to talk about the future:
تُستخم الجمل الشرطية النوع الأول , والجمل الشرطية النوع الثاني للتحدث عن المستقبل.
If I get the job, I’ll move to Ta'if.
If I got the job, I would make a lot of money.
We use the zero conditional to talk about regular habits in the present:
تُستخدم الجمل الشرطية النوع صفر للتحدث عن عادات منتظمة في الزمن الحاضر.
When I have time, I like to paint.
We use the second conditional to talk about situations that are untrue at the present:
تُستخدم الجمل الشرطية النوع الثاني للتحدث عن حالات غير صحيحة في الزمن الحاضر.
If I had more time, I would take painting classes.
We use the third conditional to talk about the past:
تُستخدم الجمل الشرطية النوع الثالث للتحدث عن الماضي.
If I had only called sooner, I could have spoken to him before he left.
