In reported questions: في الاسئلة المنقولة
• the verb changes to the past
الفعل يتغير إلى الماضي.
• word order is subject + verb
ترتيب الكلمة يكون فاعل ثم فعل
• personal pronouns change
تتغير الضمائر الشخصية
Mrs Abaidi asked, ‘What plans do you have for your future?’
She asked me what plans I had for my future.
When there is no Wh … ? question word or the question starts with the following words, use if or whether.
عندما لا يكون هناك أداة سؤال من نوع wh.. مثل why ..الخ
وكانت الاداة تبدأ بالكلمات التالية
• Can • Do • Did • Have
فاستخدم if أو whether
الأمثلة:
Sahar asked, ‘Have you got any work experience?’
Sahar asked me if I had (got) any work experience.
