• When a number of adjectives come
before a noun, they follow a certain order:
1 opinion, 2 size, 3 colour, 4 material.
She’s wearing a beautiful, big, red, wool sweater.
• It is unusual to see more than
three adjectives before a noun.
Adjectives that come before a noun are separated by
commas – and is not used unless the adjectives
describe the same kind of thing (material, colour, etc.).
