To describe people, we need two learn two major elements.
1- How to describe the character?
2- How to describe the appearance?
Let’s start with the first element which is describing a character
Let's discuss people's characters first:
When somebody is annoyed or irritated by somebody/something, especially because you have to wait for a long time we describe this character as “impatient”.
When somebody is enjoying spending time with other people, we describe him / her by “sociable”.
When somebody is willing to take risks and try new ideas; enjoying being in new, and exciting situations, we describe this character as “adventurous”.
When somebody is determined to be successful, rich, powerful, etc, we describe this character as “ambitious”.
When somebody is relaxed and happy to accept things without worrying or getting angry we describe this person as “easy-going”.
When somebody is liking to talk a lot, we describe this person as “talkative”.
When somebody is unwilling to work or be active; or this person is doing something as little as possible, we describe this person as “lazy”.
When somebody is behaving badly and not willing to obey, we describe this person as “naughty”.
When somebody is happy, and showing it by the way that this person behaves , we describe this character as “cheerful”.
When somebody is able to make good judgements based on reason and experience rather than emotion, we describe this person as “sensible”.
When somebody is caring only about himself /herself rather than about other people, we describe this character as “selfish”.
When somebody is expecting good things to happen or something to be successful, we describe this character as “optimistic”.
When somebody is having or showing good manners and respect for the feelings of others, we describe his or her character as “polite”.
When somebody is having or showing new and exciting ideas, we describe this character as “imaginative”.
When somebody is keeping things neat and in order , we describe his or her character as “tidy”.
Secondly, Let's learn them by heart :
Ok! we read about 15 adjectives we can use the describe character. Now we are supposed to memorise them, learn how to spell them, and try to use them.
