أساليم الإرشاد الشائعة الإستخدام هي كالتالي:
• imperatives
صيغة الأمر
Obey the referee at all times.
Don’t handle the ball.
• modal verbs (e.g. must, can)
الأفعال الناقصة مثل must, can ...الخ.
You can’t run unless you hit the ball.
• if clauses and when clauses
عبارة if = لو و عبارة when =عندما
If you don't hit the ball three times, you leave the field.
When nine players have batted, it is the other team's turn.
